In August 1973, Roy Wood donned a bobble hat and gloves ready to get into the mood to sing 'I Wish It Could Be Christmas Every Day'. Now, almost 50 years later, he's about to have the same festive feeling all over again, only this time much nearer to winter - and with a full-scale orchestra, too.
