She left Louisiana State University in 2012 to move to Nashville and launch her career in Christian music. Her 2015 debut, “How Can It Be,” was mostly worship music intended for a church audience. Blessed with a powerful, burnished voice, a winning smile and an effervescent, welcoming personality, she was poised for broader appeal.
