As autumn leaves fell in 1977, a select group of 16 Utah State University student voices began preparations for their annual week-long Christmas contract at Idaho’s Sun Valley resort, keeping alive an established reputation as the “Sun Valley Carolers.” Specially arranged Christmas carols and seasonal favorites called for early rehearsing.
