NEW YORK — The nation’s top public health agency is urging Americans not to travel for Thanksgiving. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Thursday recommended spending the holiday with people in the same household. The advice comes as coronavirus infections, hospitalizations, and deaths are surging across the country.
