Article content continued. Father Raymond Lafontaine – the pastor of St. Monica’s Parish in Notre-Dame-de-Grâce – was with Walsh when he died Monday morning. Lafontaine was set to preside over the funeral at the Côte-des-Neiges funeral home for George Wong, a well-known community figure, and Walsh was to give the homily.
