At least three people have died after Hurricane Zeta struck southern US states, knocking out power to more than two million homes and businesses. Officials said life-threatening conditions would last into Thursday, with Zeta crossing the mid-Atlantic states as a tropical storm before moving offshore around Delaware and southern New Jersey.
