On Tuesday, October 27, the Nicaraguan National Assembly, dominated by the Sandinista party machine, approved the “Special Cybercrimes Law”. The law is better known as the “Gag Law”. It’s declared purpose is to protect public freedoms and regulate new technologies and cyberspace.
