I’ve written about the dangers of tribalism but, this month, I’ll touch briefly on religion. We claim America doesn’t have a national religion, but we actually do. It’s called “winning” and the dogma of that religion lives loudly within us, especially in the two largest denominations of the faith: the Democratic and Republican parties.
