Marine Corps Base Camp Blaz has now officially been activated . It marks the initial operational capacity of Base, which is the newest one to open since 1952. Of course, Camp Blaz is named after the late General Vicente "Ben" Blaz, the first Chamorro general, and a four-term congressman from Guam.
