Mount Nebo United Methodist Church and Hilltop Pentecostal Church are planning an old-fashioned bean dinner Sunday at Hilltop, 3357 W. County Road 390N, Brownstown. Soup beans will be cooked by Steve Scott in a cast-iron kettle over an open fire, and that will be paired with fried potatoes, cornbread and a slab of onion on the side.
