Federal Labor frontbencher Tony Burke has referred his expense claims to the Finance Department, but insists they are within the rules. Mr Burke's move came as Prime Minister Tony Abbott said he had no problem with MPs taking taxpayer-funded cars to party fundraisers, but not luxury helicopters as in the case of former Speaker Bronwyn Bishop.
