MUCH Loved actor Rodney Litchfield, known for roles in Coronation Street, Emmerdale and Phoenix Nights, has died aged 81. The actor's career spanned more than 30 years, with further credits in Heartbeat, A Touch of Frost and Shameless. Rodney passed in his sleep on Saturday after being ill "for some time.
