Pressure is mounting on Speaker Bronwyn Bishop amid government fears the controversy surrounding her taxpayer-funded travel claims could disrupt parliament. New allegations have emerged that Mrs Bishop claimed a $288 travel allowance for an overnight stay in Brisbane on the day she attended the wedding of Liberal MP Teresa Gambaro in 2007.
