ALL MEDIA carried reports on Wednesday and Thursday morning that the CEO of Hellenic Bank, Ioannis Matsis had submitted his resignation. It turned out to be incorrect information and by Thursday afternoon the bank issued a “clarifying statement” regarding “publications in relation to the rumoured resignation of Mr Ioannis Matsis”.
