Anchor: South Korea saw the increase in daily COVID-19 cases top 300 for the first time in five months mainly due to a surge in church-related infections. The latest cases, which show no signs of easing, have sparked fears of an explosive pandemic in a country that was once hailed a global success story in taming the virus.
