The president’s absence at John Lewis’s funeral: Not a surprise, and part of a tradition. When the funeral for Representative John Lewis is held on Thursday, he will be eulogized by former President Barack Obama. Another former president, Bill Clinton, will also speak at the service, at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, according to an aide.
