Status yellow wind and rain warnings have been issued for the west and northwest. Donegal, Sligo, Mayo and Leitrim will have heavy rain with expected until 9am tomorrow. The wind alert is in operation for the same four counties as well as Galway with gusts of up to 100 kilometres per hour possible. That runs out at 10pm tonight.
