| The Community Enhancement Scheme has opened for applications |

Funding has opened for the Community Enhancement Scheme. Minister Michael Ring says last year 132 projects were supported under this programme. Minister Ring has allocated €64,000 to Mayo County Council under the scheme and is advising community groups to get their applications in. More on Midwest News this evening.
