Saudi Arabia is to limit the number of domestic pilgrims attending the Hajj to around 1,000 after barring Muslims abroad from the rite for the first year in modern times. South Africa's coronavirus cases have surpassed 100,000 as the country continues to loosen its lockdown due to economic pressure.
