Lord Lloyd Webber has revealed that a draft government report advises that singing is banned when theatres reopen in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus. He joked that such a move would be “brilliant” for musicals, suggesting that to his dismay, he did not think politicians quite understood the nature of the industry.
