Prime Minister Tony Abbott has refused to deny reports Australian officials have paid asylum boat crews, saying the Government will stop the boats "by hook or by crook". Fairfax Media reported that officials last month paid the captain and crew of a vessel with 65 migrants onboard who were then returned to Indonesia.
