By Bisi Adeleye-Fayemi. Last week Vera Uwaila Omozuwa, a 22-year old Microbiology student at the University of Benin, went to study in an empty church. From reports, it was not her first time of taking advantage of the peace and quiet to study there. She was found raped and murdered hours later in the one place that was meant to be a safe haven.
