This obituary is part of “ We Will Remember ,” a series about those we’ve lost to the coronavirus. Edmon C. Carmichael, 79, and Gwendolyn A. Carmichael, 72, met during their teenage years in high school and had been married 53 years before dying one day apart from COVID-19 complications at St. Mary’s Mercy Hospital in Livonia.
