Editor: The passing of Gene Shay ( “Fond memories of a folk legend,” Reading Eagle, April 21) did indeed bring back memories. Back in the 1960s, I spent many late Sunday nights listening to the marvelous folk music being played by Gene Shay on a Philadelphia radio station. The folk music of the 1960s was amazing.
