The self-proclaimed "architect of rock 'n' roll," Little Richard has died aged 87. Reports from the US say the musician died earlier today (May 9). Born Macon, Georgia, Little Richard became known for his dynamic music and charismatic stage persona that helped paved the way for modern rock and roll.
