The LGBT community is a poorer place today with the loss of William B. Kelley of Chicago. Bill, as his many friends knew him, was a friend and comrade in the battle for full equality of rights before the law. He is survived by his partner of 36 years, Chen K. Ooi. Born in Missouri, Bill moved to Chicago to attend the University of Chicago in 1959.
