Gunfire erupted near the scene of a homicide in South Shore early Monday, scattering mourners as police drew their weapons. Officers found a 24-year-old man about 100 yards away, bleeding from wounds to the abdomen and leg, the 49th person shot in Chicago since Friday afternoon.
