Jody Demling is hoping his home nurse will be able to take him off of an oxygen machine entirely by the end of next week. On Tuesday, he walked two-tenths of a mile without it. That might not sound like much, but six days on a ventilator and nearly four weeks in bed fighting the coronavirus has a way of putting things in perspective.
