It is fifth time unlucky for Benedict Cumberbatch after he was snubbed yet again at Bafta’s TV awards. The star has now been nominated three times for Best Actor for Sherlock, and once each for Small Island and Hawking. And last night he lost out again, with Jason Watkins taking the gong for The Lost Honour of Christopher Jefferies.
