With rain steadily falling in the background, from his pulpit Pope Francis exhorted scared, anxious laity all over the world to put faith in God. The Pope’s “Urbi et Orbi” (To the City and the World) blessing, normally delivered only at Christmas and Easter, was livestreamed on social media and broadcast on television and radio.
