Amid coronavirus concerns, it’s easy to do either one. On March 18, a Connecticut man who died after being diagnosed with COVID-19 was given the sacrament of last rites. Mindful of “social distancing” during the epidemic, a priest delivered the rites over the phone as the man’s family listened from quarantine.
