Leaders of the various denominations of churches yesterday instructed their clerics to comply strictly with the directive just as many Islamic faithful in the state stayed away from the Friday Jumaat service. Many event planners and event centres have also begun to cancel programmes they had earlier booked for in compliance with the directive.
