| More spot flooding forecast in west and midland counties today |

There's a possibility of more spot flooding in 15 counties today, due to heavy rain. Met Eireann says the midlands, west and south-west will be worst hit. River levels remain high after the recent flooding crisis – however, considerably below the peak. Cathal Nolan, from Ireland's Weather Channel, says conditions will ease as the week goes on.
