Mainland China, where the outbreak began, has recorded more than 3,000 additional deaths on Friday, with 148 in Italy and 107 in Iran. A number of countries, including South Africa, Bosnia, Serbia and Bhutan, have reported their first coronavirus cases over the past 24 hours.
