Festivals and fairs. 27th-Annual Weeki Wachee Swamp Fest: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 6 and 7, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 8 at Linda Pedersen Park, 6300 Shoal Line Blvd., Hernando Beach. The annual three-day festival features arts and crafts, ‘swamp’ food, more than 100 vendors, a kids zone and the Swamp Monster (Saturday) contest with cash prizes.
