WITH 65 years of service between them, big-hearted Jean Fluke and her pals have served tea, cake and a huge slice of kindness to thousands of cancer patients. Former carer Jean began volunteering at a tiny cafe in the radio- therapy centre at Birmingham’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital in 1995 and was joined five years later by Margaret Humpage, now 82.
