Reflecting the diversity of Wisconsin music, the leading nominees for the 40th annual Wisconsin Area Music Industry (WAMI) Awards cover a range of music styles. Artist of the year nominees included four performers with three nominations: rapper Klassik, pop-rock outfits Rose of the West and Testa Rosa, and bluegrass band Chicken Wire Empire.
