It's facing the worst coronavirus outbreak beyond China and yet South Korea still appears to be seemingly relaxed about the situation in Daegu. So much so that as recently as this week, as the infection number ballooned past 1,000, President Moon Jae-in went on a surprise visit to the outbreak's epicentre in South Korea.
