Mark Allison’s passion for music can be traced to a Sunburst Stratocaster guitar he left behind in Africa in 1974. The son of missionaries, Allison spent much of his childhood in Kenya. His father gave him the electric guitar — along with a Fender amplifier — during his junior year in high school.
