VATICAN CITY -- Pope Francis will visit Cuba before arriving in the United States in the last week of September, the Vatican said Wednesday. The Vatican spokesman, Rev. Federico Lombardi, confirmed the Cuba leg to reporters but didn't provide details or dates.
