Tributes have been paid to ‘the best drummer’ to play for a hit Potteries pop group. Barry Sargeant, from , died peacefully at at the age of 79. He will be remembered by many in North Staffordshire and beyond as the drummer with the beat band, The Marauders, who hit the charts in 1963 with their recording of That’s What I Want.
