By Anthony Cardinale. So, I am fascinated by the way people talk. I collect these little gems. For example, “So” has replaced “Well” at the beginning of a sentence. (“So” used to mean “Therefore,” but not so much anymore.) When I was a Buffalo News reporter I used to pick up various speech peculiarities.
