Not only did I get one of those calls -- telling me my Social Security account had been frozen because of criminal activity -- everyone in my household with a phone got the same call.
I was concerned that someone who didn’t know better was going to be talked into sending gift cards, cash or a money order to someplace no one has ever heard of.
