Garth Wright. Plymouth's last surviving Dunkirk veteran Garth Wright died earlier this year at the age of 99. The keen bugler, Argyle fan and all-round Plymouth legend served in the Royal Artillery and was among the troops evacuated from the beaches of Dunkirk in 1940.
