As El Paso welcomes players, coaches, fans and family of Arizona State and Florida State to El Paso and the Sun Bowl, I wanted to provide some history on the game. Only the Rose Bowl, which dates back to 1902, has been around longer than the Sun Bowl. The Orange Bowl, the Sugar Bowl and El Paso's Sun Bowl have all been played annually since 1935.
