On December 23, Lewis Marson turned 100. In preparation, he collected a hundred $1 coins from the ASB, dipped them in silver polish and polished them to a high sheen. Everybody who came to the family party got a shiny dollar – that's one cent for each trip Marson's made around the sun – as a souvenir.
