. COLUMBUS. Marion Douglas “Doug” Day, 83, of Columbus, passed from this life Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at the Gulf Coast Medical Center in Fort Myers, Florida. Mr. Day was born June 21, 1936, in Whitesburg, Kentucky, the son of Lloyd Day Sr. and Nora Stamper Day. He married Doris I. Ison February 2, 1957.
