| German-language Christmas service set for St. John's Lutheran in Reading |

St. John's German Lutheran Church, 521 Walnut St., will hold its annual Christmas service in German on Sunday at 11 a.m. The Reading Liederkranz choruses, under the direction of Mark Herr, will provide the music. The Rev. Sonja Ware, a native of Bod Homburg, Germany, will preach. Radio station WEEU-830 AM will broadcast the service live.
