Police officers are warning motorists to be on their guard after a would-be raider was spooked when trying to steal from a van. revealed officers were called to Church Lawton - but did not say which street - after a van owner spotted the man trying to gain access into his vehicle. Spooked, the man ran away from the area empty handed.
