Central Iowa sports talk radio got a little quieter this week. Tommy From Des Moines has died. The opinionated man with his famously raspy voice will be missed in the postgame call-in shows, on which he was a staple for so many years. He worshiped Hayden Fry. He liked Dan McCarney and Kirk Ferentz.
